Moments

There’s a philosophical thing I want to discuss, which is, I think we underappreciate or underestimate the fact that every moment in life is unique.

And no matter how much you try to replicate a good moment after it’s passed, it will just never happen. It’ll never, ever be the same.

So everything you experience, it will always feel the most novel, the most thrilling, the first time. And every magical experience that you have, you can only do the things that place you in a situation like that. But you can’t manufacture that exact feeling or that moment.

Truly, you truly cannot.

And so the practical takeaway from there is: believe in shit, you know. Believe in the magic of moments. And believe, you know, that every moment is special, because there will never be, literally, it’s impossible, you know, that you’ll have the exact same moment or feeling again.

Don’t just go through the motions. Don’t just treat time and people and moments as disposable, or the fact that they’ll come again, because truly they won’t.

Not even the same person, you know. You’ll never meet the same person twice. The next time you meet them, you know, they might be different. They will be different, based on their own life situations, how they have interacted with you.

Every person you meet, and every moment, and every moment that you have in your own life, it only will happen once.

It’s an NFT. The true NFT was your own time and your own experiences.
